Well hello there, not updated this for a couple of months so here goes. Martha is developing very fast, lots of new things every day. She is getting very good at putting things in her mouth, stronger and stronger in her body, although still can't sit up unattended as she tends to kick her legs a lot and flop backwards.

Weaning is going pretty well, she likes carrots, pears, oat biscuits, bananas, porridge, apples, but prefers finger foods to purees. She absolutely loves sitting up in the highchair and having food while we eat, it is very sweet. No sign of crawling or wanting to move about much, she is generally very contented as she is.

She isn't such a heavy sleeper anymore either, which has made for a very tiring couple of months. Daddy has not been very good with estimates of costs or timescales recently...

We are both sitting at the computer and she is like a whirling dervish, creating havoc with everything within reach, phones (she particularly likes the coily cords), pens, mouses/mice, books, cds, paperwork etc. She loves throwing things around and bashing stuff up, she must take after Clare in that respect.
